course is designed to meet the California Department of Public Health new CE
licensure renewal requirements. Four hours of this course will be dedicated to
Digital Imaging and four hours will be dedicated to Radiation Safety and
Fluoroscopy. This 2 part 8 hour course will explore digital radiography with
attention to CR imaging plate, the reader, the DR digital detector, techniques,
contrast, resolution, quantum mottle, artifacts, and quality control. The
second part of this course will cover radiation protection and safety in both
fluoroscopy and radiography. Images and experiments will be a source of learning.
